Wade was a valued member of the Product Design team at SCATS (Sydney Coordinated Adaptive Traffic System) – part of Transport for NSW.
As Senior UX and UI Designer, Wade worked on all elements of the design process, from research planning and execution, through design ideation, iteration, wireframing, UI design, usability testing, and feature delivery. He collaborates extremely well with fellow designers, dev teams, and stakeholders.
Wade is a curious, proactive, and considerate designer. He is always looking for something to improve upon, has an excellent rapport with end-users, and a keen eye for detail.
In addition to be an all-around performer from a research and design perspective, Wade is also able to get across technical subject matter quickly. During his time at SCATS, he was responsible for re-designing elements of the platform that were extremely complex. He was able to easily comprehend traffic engineering concepts, which enabled him to have meaningful conversations with end-users, uncover their problems more effectively, and develop elegant solutions.
